Tantamount personnel have been involved in the field of adult education and training since the early 80s. We recognise the importance of both the content and the teaching method in the learning process, which is why we are excited about the variety of possibilities offered by on-line training.

We work with experienced teachers and course designers to develop our own materials and courses.

We also work closely with clients to develop customised packages to suit their individual requirements and meet their specific training needs.

For both readers and writers of poetry, our innovative on-line course combines video and animation techniques to present the tools used by modern poets in a friendly and professional style. Register to access the free trial.

course format & methodology

Our courses and workshops are individually designed using a combination of the following teaching styles and techniques:

presential course techniques

On-line presentational

Let us bring the classroom to your computer! To be watched at your convenience, or scheduled, live sessions (presentations, readings, webinars...) where the tutors talk direct to you and the other course participants.

Individual mentoring

Your course mentor will be available to help you with any questions you may have.

Live on-line interaction

For those with the simplest computer set ups, there are email newsletter loops and course discussion forums, but with a webcam and microphone you can join in with participative webinars, audio & video classes, as well as peer workshop sessions.

Auto-evaluation:

Want to know how you're doing? Interactive auto-evaluation tests let you find out for yourself.

Evaluation by mentor:

Sometimes you need an objective commentary or critique to assess your progress. That's where our course mentors can help with evaluation of longer assignments. The feedback may be written, or by scheduled audio/video chat.
